Transparent plexiglass key ring 10 mm thick, size 45×80 mm and complete with hole.
The processes that have been used for the realisation are Co2 laser cutting for the shaping, and Co2 laser engraving for the inscription ‘RESIDENCE CORALLO – app’: this technology allows plexiglass and many other materials to be cut and engraved with extreme precision, realising complex designs with limited thickness. This feature makes it ideal for the production of customised items such as key rings for flats and hotels.
The inscription ‘Noto’ was engraved by pantograph and then enamelled in cyan.
Pantograph engraving is used because it allows one to go deep into the material, in this case plexiglass.
Both enamelling and Co2 laser engraving have the advantage of guaranteeing greater durability over time than processes such as digital printing, but especially when dealing with objects of this kind that are handled on a daily basis.
